Mens Dingo Cowboy Boots

What a day.....I woke up to a snowstorm, and by the time I left for work the Chev was covered in snow, my snowbrush was lost somewhere in the basement...traffic was horrific, and it was both snowing and raining. The long walk from my parking spot to work was less than ideal, especially since I didn't have gloves and the old ball cap I grabbed on the way out the door was wet in no time.....and then it got cold, as the temperature took a decided drop!

It was yucky to say the least, and then to top it off, my shoes started to leak....so I made up my mind to go shopping, I've got to get a decent pair of boots and a new warm coat and gloves. I came home and decided to have a look for a pair of boots, preferably pull on, with a rubber sole.  They need to be suitable for work in an office and occasionally outside, without being too wimpy, and without being too tough looking either, something in between. I need boots that pull on, which I prefer to boots that lace up, especially for going in and out of doors in winter, when it is a chore to stop and untie a pair of 8" boots. That's why I prefer western style boots, something that is practical for winter, yet stylish enough to go with most of what I might wear, which is usually jeans or khaki's.

Among the boots I have shortlisted so far, are these Dingo Men's Chevron Boots They have a 12 inch shaft, 2 inch heel and are available in distressed, black or dark brown. Not a bad looking pair of boots for under $120.00 I also need boots with a rubber sole for walking in snow and ice, where my usual leather cowboy boots fall a little short.

I haven't made up my mind totally yet, although I would like a pair of these boots, I'm still looking, but I think these will probably be the ones. I like the western styling best of all, with stitching on the foot and shaft and the western underslung heel appeals to my cowboy sense of style. These boots come in black, briar and distressed tan (shown) Find out more about them, including how to order, Here!!
